Cable Television Network Gets The Jump On Advertising Dollars With Real Time Advertising Sales and Inventory Management System
Situation - Advertising revenue was not being maximized by an industry leading Cable Television network because of lack of automation and lack of access to real time data:
Advertising sales executives were engaging with advertising customers without real time information about available advertising slots resulting in lower sales volumes, lower yields and customer feedback about the difficulty to buy advertising. Most of the problems were related to lack of visibility to real-time availability of advertising inventory and lack of automation support for order entry and program schedule.
